I'm wondering how its possible to love people and yet hate them at the same time.

I love them like art. Removed and appreciative. To actually engage myself in their lives however frequently stirs great dislike and even disgust.

Don't get me wrong, I do everything I can to help make the lives of others better and happier. I think children in particular are the most amazing things since sliced bread. Children tap into a pool of faith that gives more hope than anything else can provide.

Still caring for people always seems to come at a cost.
